Here are some tips on what to say during the interview:
- Be aware of why you want this job, and be able to state it clearly
- Answer questions sincerely, completely and promptly, try not to hesitate
- Ask for clarification if you don't understand a question
- The interviewer may want more than a simple "yes" or "no" for most questions
- Show interest in the job by asking questions about the company
- Ask specific details of the job for which you are applying
- Don't give long-winded monologues
- Don't argue, simply state your opinions
- Don't criticize others, including your former employer
- Wait for natural pauses to ask your questions
